the concept of being a “white saviour” and their want for admiration doesn’t apply to dany. she’s highly criticised when freeing the raped slaves of the dothraki, she’s criticised by jorah for subverting from the initial objective of buying the unsullied, by liberating them.

asoiaf fans will justify khal drogo and dany’s relationship as being “consensual” and “romantic” due to grrm’s intended meaning; as if she didn’t contemplate suicide and wasn’t treated as a glorified child sex slave. there’s not a single scene where drogo is loving towards dany

grrm’s dehumanisation of women in asoiaf is unnecessary. a series with mythical creatures but every single female has been objectified. him saying the rape of 13 y/o dany by drogo was “consensual” &“seductive” doesn’t reflect the “medieval setting” people love using as an excuse.

dany’s house of the undying chapter mentions “from a smoking tower, a great stone beast took wing, breathing shadow fire” which signifies the role of rituals and magic in euron’s arc. therefore, euron’s attack on oldtown is possibly fuelled by an avarice for a magical awakening.

mel’s visions depict a series of locations, such as pyke, whereas dany sees sigils of great westerosi houses. earlier on mel asks rhllor to show her “his king, his instrument”, the last visions are “great winged shadows against a hard blue sky” - setting dany to be azor ahai.
