First full day of small group 😴… with 32 kids in most classes I can’t fit a small group table in the room, so in middle school our carpet time becomes our small group… now I just need to remember to bring in my rug and pillows 🤣 #guidedmath #learningstations

Math Lab is my new challenge! My students had no conceptual understanding of DIVISION so I brought out the cubes! One student was so happy to finally understand he asked could he take them home to practice! @CMMS_Hawks @FBISDmath

Ways to build relationships with students: • learn their names & pronounce them correctly • learn what they want to be called at school/in your class • say every name at least once a day. If I haven’t said a student’s name, sometimes I just call on them and say hi and smile!
