Northern Irish cardiovascular exercise physiologist living and working in Salford. BACPR council member 🏋🏻♂️❤️
Salford, England
Joined July 2018
This is a great insight into the past, present and potential future of CR in the UK! Couldn’t agree more about the importance of comprehensive Ax and then designing a programme that meets that pt’s goals, rather than trying to direct everyone towards a supervised exercise program
Listen to the latest episode of the Let’s Talk ICCPR podcast featuring Prof John Buckley! Where Prof Buckley shares his inspiring journey in the field of cardiac rehabilitation and reflects on the impact of his tenure as President of the BACPR. https://t.co/zrJU5fVRd4

It is now the policy of the Government that our NHS is broken. It will be the mission of my department, every member of this government, and the 1.4 million people who work in the NHS, to turn our health service around. That work starts now. https://t.co/G6tJlOWuLf

Really interesting education day discussing PAD. Particularly motivating to see data on the improvements made on rates of amputation in Salford over the past 10 years, coinciding with when @SCOCardioRehab started incorporating PAD patients into our cardiac rehab service!
