Great summary and I don’t recall ‘imperious’ being used very often to describe a Blues performance!
Loads of strong performances, Doyle in particular. However I think our CBs win us the game. Klarer so calm on the ball and dominant aerially as always. Neumann defended the front post brilliantly, was aggressive throughout, and ran with the ball boldly at times. Imperious #BCFC

I think that’s spot on - our recruitment didn’t address this in the summer. And look at the heights of our outfield players last night. It’s no wonder we struggle at set pieces, both defensively and offensively, with such a small side.
I feel for CD - I don’t think we’ve given him an athletic enough squad to play his style at Championship level. However, now that this is the hand he’s been dealt, he does need to find a way to get a tune out of what is still a very solid squad for this level, and quickly #BCFC
