Dry conditions are hurting Minnesota's cattle farms first. Nearly half the state's pastures are in poor to very poor condition. Just 11% of crops are that bad.

To sound smart, simply turn a noun into a verb, or a verb into a noun. This is a learning I acquisitioned. https://t.co/8nmb8JXSjS

Privileged to have been an intern at the "NewsHour" in college, to have met Jim several times in the intervening years and, as much or more, to have known and worked for the man who brought him to KERA and public TV, the incredible Robert A. Wilson. Texans. Giants of the craft.
Jim Lehrer was a giant in journalism. His tenacity and dedication to simply delivering the news remain the core of our work at the PBS NewsHour. Here’s @JudyWoodruff delivering the news of Jim’s passing today.

Both Koreas had heavily banked on the possibility that @realDonaldTrump would get the U.S.-North Korea relationship unstuck from the rut it's been in for 25 years. Three summits, many photo ops and praise-filled letters later, it's right back in the rut
latimes.com
Three summits and many smiling photos later, Trump's North Korea strategy has the U.S. in a familiar place: an impasse, bracing for provocations.

July payrolls grew +164k, pretty much as expected. Unemployment also unchanged at a nice low 3.7%. Revisions to the last two months were notably negative, subtracting around 41k from previously-thought job growth. All told, the economic expansion just keeps on keeping on.

Calling someone as 검은머리 토종한국인 (literally "black-haired, native Korean" journos...as opposed to blonde-haired, western journos?) as a way to personally attack her/him & to discredit their professional competency/stories is not only downright ridiculous but also racist.
So I’m being called a “black-haired” traitor by some MJI supporters for sharing this statement on social media. Come on, this was a classy response to an irresponsible and dangerous statement. And please come up with better insults. The 검은머리 crap is pretty lazy and dumb.
