Ethiopian Airlines kicked out a passenger on my flight because a minister took her seat. They didn’t apologize and they eventually forcefully offloaded her screaming. The minister did nothing. Disgraceful

.@faiza_mahamud was one of my first friends when I went to @StarTribune. Her aura is pure sunshine and I’m grateful every single day even from miles away that she’s one of my best friends and sisters and for our many afternoons getting samosas. So excited and proud. 💛

NEW: The Star Tribune has hired an experienced executive to head up its philanthropic projects and promoted a longtime business reporter to lead its community engagement efforts.

I took a buyout at the LA Times a few weeks ago. It was a wild five-year ride, and I'm going to miss working with the LAT's incredible journalists (and the @latguild crew ✊) I've got some projects in the works, but freelance assignments and job leads appreciated!
