My wonderful staff at Court Street Bagels was briefed weekly on the status of the store. From February 1st, 2023, when the verbal lease took effect, to the three court dates on April 4th, April 26th and July 10th, they were never kept in the dark. That would have been selfish.

Anyone born during the blackout of 2003 is old enough to have a beer today. Happy birthday and cheers. I had quite the adventure getting home. I crawled out of the subway and walked to Marine Park from Lincoln Center.

This is the last anniversary post I’ll make. I promise. Today is 100 days since everyone bid me farewell. Thank you, again. You have no idea how much that day means to me. It was perfect. Anyway, enjoy the day. It’s absolutely beautiful outside. Bye! 🤗.

Three months ago this evening, I left court street bagels for the last time, taking with me twenty years of beautiful memories. I want to thank everyone who stopped by and made that day so incredible. And for the people who couldn’t make it, thanks for all your support here.
