It has been an honour to welcome Ahmad Nawaz @AhmadNawazaps, activist for peace and education, to Eton College today. Through his story he has inspired and humbled our pupils and staff.

18 year old Ahmad Nawaz @Ahmadnawazaps survived a 2014 Taliban attack on his school in Pakistan, in which tragically his younger brother was killed. He campaigns globally for peace and promotes the importance of education for young people. We are honoured to welcome him to Eton.
It's a great honour that @Ahmadnawazaps will be speaking to some of the smartest students in the world at @Eton_College on the 11th of November. These talented young people need to value the innumerable opportunities available to them and start taking action in their society.
