So… I decided to leave a day early to drive home to see my family for Thanksgiving. And I knew there was a snowstorm in Buffalo but the GPS said it was rerouting me around the thruway closure. Y’all, it rerouted me right into the worst part of the snowstorm. 😩

I don't miss the snow we had when I lived back east.
Update: I’m still here waiting for the road to get plowed. The guy from last night came back to my car a second time (!) around 1am and asked me to go back to his house. A cop came by at 4am and offered to take me to a homeless shelter. 😭 The road is a parking lot.

Endings, for me, are the hardest part. A book or story's ending can make all the difference on my overall feeling about it, such as the ending of Gone Girl ruined the book for me.
