I'm not Russian, but this is true, sadly:( I tried 2 get some friends to follow the Russian players who I support (eg. Rublev) - their reply: 'No, he's Russian, I won't like him'. These r generally good ppl, but the stigma against Russians has def been internalised in the West

So-called tennis fans/media need to start understanding this - the depth of talent these days is phenomenal & extends beyond the Top 10 or even Top 100.. Unpredictable results aren't due to 'overrated' players at the top, but rather underrated players further down the rankings..

Great start, but u should also re-assess the competence, bias etc of linespeople & chair umpires (as should the ATP).. Obviously mistakes happen, but there should be a valid 2nd opinion eg. VAR for every contested decision (supervisors do nothing but agree with umpires' anyway).
