Eagles lose and Steelers lose, meaning @StephenJ_Caruso doesn't have to figure out who bought the governor tickets to the super bowl.

Say it with us: FULL TIME STATE LEGISLATORS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK SIDE JOBS WITH OBVIOUS CONFLICTS OF INTEREST It is bonkers that this is legal and that so many legislators do this kind of crap
State Rep. Seth Grove chairs the Pa. House Labor and Industry committee while working as the President and CEO of a trade organization that represents over 200 construction companies. I'm sure it's pretty easy to see the ethics issues here. https://t.co/UaEwPN2jIQ

There is a money election that happens before voters vote. If enough rich people don’t like you, you aren’t a viable candidate. This election won’t be close bc the money race is a blowout. Also, Garrity and Shapiro have the same donors in the past, but they clearly like him more
the day after Josh Shapiro launched his re-election campaign touting $30 million raised last year, his likely Republican opponent announces she's raised $1 million

One thing today has shown is that ordinary people who are politically active protesting their Govt, they are far braver than any of the career politicians running the Govt. And frankly without such brave people, we would not even have the limited rights that we do have.

As corruption, greed, and theft of the people continues and grows, physical violence against the people will grow. It always does.

unpopular opinion but a lot of “mental health issues” disappear when bills are paid, rent is secure, and the fridge is full. peace is expensive and pretending money doesn’t affect mental health is privilege.

“It’s absolutely embarrassing that our legislators can only interact with each other when a lobbyist sets up a playdate for them”
ICYMI: Josh Shapiro doesn’t need Pa. Society, the Parker-Johnson relationship, Kim Ward’s budget ballad (!!!), and more takeaways from @anna_orso, @sbcmw, @JuliaTerruso and me

Our political system is not set up to solve our problems, and that’s the main problem we need to solve.

Woooo, orgy of corruption weekend!!! Time for Pennsylvania politicians to meet their Wall Street donors and have a ball together!!!
It’s Pennsylvania Society weekend in NYC, where the state’s political elite are schmoozing their way around Midtown Manhattan. @JuliaTerruso, @anna_orso, @sbcmw and I will be wandering around with our ears to the ground. Send us tips! https://t.co/RxNl87rVQ4

Dear hyper partisan people, stop acting like it’s your job to convince people to support your party despite their record of💩 It’s your job (and all of our jobs) to challenge every party and politician to do better than 💩 and to earn our votes by doing good.

1971 was when the ruling class got their plan together and started implementing it. They hated the “excess of democracy” in the 1960’s that increased people power and accomplished great things.
Something not talked about enough is how the year 1971 broke the US economy forever Here are 20 fascinating charts to show you what I mean 1. Productivity has skyrocketed while salaries have not moved at nearly the same pace.

🚨NEW STUDY: Lawmakers' personal stock returns jump 47 POINTS when they become congressional leaders & get access to non-public info. The study arrives as House Speaker Johnson said he opposes a bill banning lawmakers from trading stocks. What stage of corruption is this?

So many liars in our system just routinely spout nonsense. Musk promised us self driving cars a decade ago, $2 trillion of savings last year, Mars five years ago, California hyper-loop trains 15 years ago,,,, he just keeps making stuff up. We are governed by sociopathic liars
