Lol my last job there were 7 different IT systems each of which only worked on certain computers and often lead to them crashing. Took 40 mins to PRINT let alone write a discharge summary some days

Just like any other athletics fan there's always events I prefer to watch. So when there's no Brits in an event I find myself not paying as much attention. I'm sure I'm not the only person who does this🤷🏻♂️ This is the fallout from British Athletics selecting a small team

A colleague requested annual leave 11 WEEKS in advance. Sent a reminder at 8 weeks, then at 6 weeks. Stunned silence. 3 weeks before AL, department goes "ohhh your AL request has been rejected.... you have to get approval to take AL. Also find cover if you want AL" Nah.

Spending yet another day off chasing payroll for >£5k in wages they’ve owed me since Feb which I need imminently for a house deposit whilst simultaneously shelling out over a £1k on GMC, MDU and BMA fees, no wonder NHS junior docs are so dissatisfied 🦀

Agency and choice. This isn’t all about the NHS. Young professionals used to be able to afford houses, they didn’t have long commutes or worry about how to pay the bills, they got to focus on their jobs. The NHS hasn’t changed, life has. 1/ 🧵
