I always puzzle at accusations of ‘Self Indulgent’ directed at musicians or artists. Like it’s a bad thing. Of course we are. What’s more self-indulgent than heeding your own muse, and if you’re not, what are you creating? Don’t like it? Fair dos. Diversity in aesthetics is real.
