Also FWIW some of the other current top Democrats first took their positions when they were even younger. New York Rep. Nydia Velázquez became Ranking Member of Small Business in 1998 at 44. Washington Rep. Adam Smith became Ranking Member of Armed Services in 2011 at 45.

Talking qs from reporters at the WH right now: Trump incorrectly repeated his claim that he won the youth vote by 37% speculating it was partly bc of his TikTok presence . Again: Trump did NOT win a majority of the youth vote. But he did make BIG gains.
