Delighted to present for the first time the dietary guidelines for the management of chronic constipation at #NSwinter2025 @NutritionSoc. These are the first evidence-based dietary guidelines in constipation, based on four systematic r/v & meta-analyses. Paper to follow soon!.

New definition for "occasional constipation"!. Diagnosis if.🟥≥1 symptom of functional constipation.🟥no alarm symptoms.🟥occurs at irregular/infrequent intervals. Definition will allow more research on this #constipation entity -> improve patient care.
