Great point! #EdTech can help here too—AI-powered quizzes, real-time polling, and adaptive platforms can surface misconceptions early. But tech alone isn’t enough—it’s how we respond that matters. What’s your go-to method for tackling misconceptions? #EvidenceInformed.
Misconception banks by Kate Jones. "It is important for teachers to be aware of misconceptions when planning and designing lessons but also to be responsive when misconception arise.". How do you deal with misconceptions?.

I last asked this a few years ago wondering how times are changing… When you are looking for #inspiration and new ideas for your classroom/school, which #socialmedia platform (other than X) would you look to first? #innovation #edtech #education #teachertwitter.

I wonder what are the latest reinventions people have come across? Having been in schools for over a quarter of a century… there are far to many to count!.
Something that I find amusing about education is how the same stuff gets reinvented with a new (usually fancier) name. Not sure why we do this to ourselves. 🤷♀️.

Great point @Sue_Cowley. Understanding the ‘why’ behind children’s behaviors is crucial. It allows us to address the root causes and support their development more effectively, rather than just applying consequences. @EducationChat @TeachThought #ChildDevelopment #Education.
Something I find surprising is how little curiosity I see on here about the motivation behind children's behaviours. The focus seems to be on 'what to do as a consequence' rather than on 'why are they doing it in the first place?'.

If you’re curious about AI and Technology (or just interested in humanities future), I highly recommend my current read: The Coming Wave by @michaelbhaskar. It’s the best book I’ve read in a long time-hard to put down and incredibly insightful! #AI #Technology #BookRecommendation

Incredible to hear about Year Six students leading philosophical discussions on such profound topics! Truly shows the power of young minds in guiding meaningful conversations. 🌟 #P4C @SAPERE_P4C.
Who can facilitate a philosophical discussion? Today six teams of year six in Chalford Hill Gloucs spread out across their school to lead younger children in discussing jealousy, difference, being small, being loud, and when it’s ok to rebel. #p4c @SAPERE_P4C.

Is this a blessing or a curse? … #AI chatbots can answer students' questions instantly, providing them with immediate feedback and support. This not only saves time for teachers but also encourages independent learning in students. #PrimaryEducation @chatbotlearning.
