I’ve just booked onto @NATREupdate #strictlyRE 2026 - it would be great to see so many of the RE family there? There’s a great choice of seminars and stands - you might even choose to come and listen to me……

@nlbonell A discussion with pre-prepared questions for 6 visitors from religious and non religious backgrounds. Students also messaged in questions live that we could filter. Over 200 GCSE RS students in the hall. Local SACREs and https://t.co/KjrW6ymbAv so resourceful for this #REChatUk

@nlbonell Yes- I have held the Big Question with a range of panel speakers. The debates were sent ahead of the event in order to panelist could reflect on their responses. It was a great opportunity for sixth form students to host and also for lower school to be in the audience. #REChatUK

@SaimaSaleh_RE Is there any way to know which speakers are able to deliver CPD sessions to secondary teachers/HoDs (as opposed to students)? Hoping to organise some MAT-wide CPD! #rechatuk

@nlbonell I’m currently planning a multi-faith panel for Interfaith Week. One idea is to ask speakers to bring and talk about a precious object. This RE Podcast episode with @PhilEthics_dept gave me lots of inspiration: https://t.co/H6CEBI2ice #REChatUK

Today's episode is a delightful chat with Stacey Burman and Carrie Alderton about all things interfaith.  And when I say all things, I mean ALL THE THINGS!The history and purpose of Interfaith Week...

Q6: Has anyone encouraged inter-faith dialogue by inviting different speakers or a multi-faith panel into school? What did it look like? #REChatUK

@JoanneH_RE @nlbonell When I taught in Dorset we had a joint humanities trip to Corfe Castle. In history they would visit the castle, we would visit the church & geography they would do a field sketch. We had a carousel of the 3 venues which meant the whole year group could go on 1 day. #REChatUK

@TheREPodcast1 @NATREupdate Great idea @TheREPodcast1 A virtual trip can save money and still bring learning to life. @MrSmithNorwich wrote a great article for @RE_Today on the power of a virtual trip. #REChatUK

@TheREPodcast1 @nlbonell @NATREupdate @culhamstgabriel I also know that @ClaireClinton67 has led some faith trails in Newham. I think Newham Sacre also does competitions linked to trips. #REChatUK

@RE_McGEE You can save money by visiting multiple places on the same day. Here’s a great blog about a Yr6 faith trail from Clare Hewitson, published by @CulhamStGabriel #REChatUK👉 https://t.co/cskaaJDXEV #REChatUK

Link visits with other departments ( especially humanities) to share costs, use local places of worship to cut travel, or invite visitors in when trips aren’t possible - creative solutions keep the experience accessible. #REChatUK
