That was avoidable. Soto had Greene 0-2 with two straight off speed pitches. How do you not go with an upper fastball to get Greene to swing at it??. Poor execution there by Senger and Soto. Series win nonetheless, but avoidable losses are always tough deal with.

The good thing about Senga and Manaea being ass, is it forces Sterns’ hand. The #Mets are making the playoffs whether you think so or not. Having a rotation filled with young/rookie pitching might be what this team needs to make a postseason run. You can look at the 2015 Mets.

The most obvious outcome. Morton, who couldn’t find the strike zone with Lindor and Soto, finds it to perfection with Alonso. The formula to get out of that jam came to fruition. But when our pitchers allow the first two guys on, they struggle to get out of it.

Yesterday’s game went from an awesome performance to an anomaly. The #Mets making the playoffs by default doesn’t provide any encouragement. Until they consistently beat bad teams or struggling pitchers, they’ll never be taken seriously. Hard to believe in this team when.

Tong's start was not perfect. Like be realistic. He definitely needs to add more pitches with spin to his repertoire because his fastball has no movement and won't get enough swings and misses in the show. He can definitely have a solid career as a 2nd or 3rd starter #LGM.

If Tong was Senga or Manaea he'd be getting ripped right now. His start was okay for a first start but it's nothing special and not sustainable. He has to work on a lot if he wants to be a successful pitcher #LGM.
