You may have noticed The 7 Line shop in center field at
@CitiField
was closed during the last homestand. We’ve been battling a leaky roof, and the last repair sprung a leak. It unfortunately hasn’t been fixed yet, and in the meantime our inventory has been moved just a few short
Scherzer, lockout ended, Seaver statue, Howie back in the booth, Buck running circles around the rule book, combined no-hitter, sweeping series vs the Phillies/Nats/Yankees/Marlins/Reds, Retired 17, deGrom back, Old Timers Day, Nimmo catch, Live Trumpets... 2022 is a vibe so far
Between Jacob warming up to Simple Man, and now Edwin walking out to Narco (and not cutting to commercial),
@SNYtv
is straight killing it today. Feeling like we're there from the couch.
To all Mets players that follow this account. If you’re seeing this, and you decide to take the field at 7:10 wearing a first responder cap, we’ll GLADLY chip in to pay off any sort of fine that may come your way. 🇺🇸
The Mets are 14-5 at Citi Field. The best home record in baseball. These guys should be damn proud of themselves so far. Finding ways and making it happen. No excuses.
The Mets could lose a billion to 1, and we'd still be counting the hours down until the next days first pitch. It's a sickness that thankfully has no cure. You're really in or out.
The fact that William Contreras still uses Narco after Timmy Trumpet and Blasterjaxx came out and said “Edwin is the official one. You have to choose your own song.” is mind boggling. 3 pitches.

We shot WAY too much yesterday for a 2:20 edit. A short coming soon, but for those with longer attention spans we'll pop the raw on our YouTube too. Stay tuned.
Thanks for the access,

Braves win. Wild Card it is. Proud of you, Mets. 100 wins (yea, tonight is a wrap) is nothing to sneeze at. the Braves earned it, good for them. Like Canha said though, the goal wasn't the East, it's the whole damn thing. Now we just gotta win a couple extra games to get there.
RIP John Stearns. We're so happy he was able to make it out to Old Timers Day just a few weeks ago. Was great to see this legend catch up with his old teammates, coach first base, and salute the crowd. While we never got to see him play in person, this legend will live forever.
The whole LFGM thing:
- yes it means fucking
- nobody is making you curse if you don’t like to curse
- it’s not taking the place of LGM
- it’s a great way to add a little extra umph to your excitement
- if your underage kid asks, tell them it’s “freakin”
- don’t be so sensitive
To be 11 games under .500 and not being eliminated from the playoffs until 4 games were left in the season is pretty incredible. Credit to the players for keeping their heads in the game all year, and to the fans for staying true 'til the end.
No Phillies got a hit. Doesn’t matter if it was one Mets pitcher or the entire bullpen that pulled it off. It’s a no hitter. Surely not as extra special as the one man feat, but nonetheless a no hitter. Don’t poo poo stuff your fellow fans (and the players) are excited about.
Zack Greinke battles depression and social anxiety, and it almost ended his career about a decade ago. He doesn't give the best interviews, but he tries his best to get through it. Probably not the best thing to joke about, guys.
To all the dummies still complaining about Pete winning the derby while hitting less HR's than Vlad Jr:
1) Pete hit less because he didn't have to hit more. He never needed the extra time, and bat second in each round. A spot he earned because of the seeding.
2) You're dumb.
So now they're gonna have to play some dumb 7 inning double headers to make this shit up? Not at all fair to the Mets. Nats should have had to play their B team.
The Mets WILL
#WearTheCaps
tonight! Each 9/11 since 2001 we had hoped the tradition of wearing first responder caps would be come a tradition. The league didn't allow it. Grateful for everyone who was FINALLY able to get MLB to change their mind. Better late than never.
Escobar is such a pro. 10 years in the bigs and on the top step cheering on Brett Baty (who's kinda sorta taking his job for the time being) in his first game.
How any Mets fan would be hoping for the NL to not have the DH -- just because we have a couple pitchers who grab a hit every once in a while -- is WILD. This team is infinitely better with the DH. Case closed.
