FMCW radar transmitter, receiver and fuze units - Parts of the 5E15-VT proximity fuze of the TLĐK-35 anti-air missile.
Holy shit. A new Vietnamese missile for the S-125 AA system was recently revealed, named TLĐK-35. Note how it differentiated between upgraded 5V27-VT.and this new missile. Coupled with the Vietnamese writings, it's most likely domestically produced. This is a major step forward.

While the XTC-02's weapon station is indeed remote controlled, spade grips are still included as manual backup, in case of power loss, malfunction, etc.
Close ups of the RCWS on the XTC-02 APC. Good firepower with 12.7mm NSV + 7.62mm PKM combo and optronics. 4 LWRs and generous smoke grenades gives good 360* protection, crucial for a light vehicle. All indigenous design and production, a major achievement and step up for the VPA.

You keep quoting Russian output, but that's irrelevant to VN. Even if we chose 2S19, we'd still be relying on foreigners. Is Russia going to sell us guns against China? The US even?.The goal is to make our own guns. For that 155mm is the better choice.
@wartrophy_414 @EFFERCETAMOL First, Vietnam’s military doctrine is self reliance, which means no, Vietnam will not be seeking help from others for its own needs if it can produce. Second, the point of the article is not about the ability to produce 155mm, but the cost of war.

Okay, he's still speaking nonsense. Again:. 1. We make our own ammo. Compatibility and market price are non-issues.2. 152mm is a dead-end, available only from Russia - Sanctioned, unreliable esp. if China is involved.3. Russian TOT is extremely limited (See: VCM, Igla, STV).
The article was written in early 2024. The reporter is Dmitry Shorkov - Senior editor of Sputnik newspaper (Vietnamese service). The expert simply discussed Vietnam’s needs over localization of production: can we beat enemy at the cost of war?.
