🚨 Ambassador animal shoutout, featuring Paz and Merlin the Blue and Gold Macaws! 🚨 Paz hatched on January 20, 1993, and Merlin hatched on February 2, 1999. Blue and Gold Macaws can live into their 80’s! Macaws will also blush when they become excited!

💚🦎 Show some love to our scaly friends on World Lizard Day! Alligator lizards are native to the humid canopy of Mexico's cloud forests. They live 130 feet above the forest floor and use their prehensile tails to navigate the treetops. See them at the Reptile Discovery Center!

Pepper and Salt the Chinchillas take dust baths instead of water baths! Chinchilla fur is so thick, it will not dry and can become moldy if wet!
