Brown bear cubs are typically born in the winter around the months of January and February. Because these bears are rescues, we don't know for sure what day they are born, but we celebrate in the summer because that is when the bears are most active.

To celebrate brown bear siblings second and a half birthday, our animal care team hid treats inside these paper mâché creations! This type of enrichment helps the bears put their powerful noses to work and provides them a fun challenge to solve.
