Still early in my coaching career I’ll still get some swings in. No better way to teach hitting than to keep learning and getting better yourself. Sometimes it’s tough to teach what you can’t do. Backspinning the ball inside to LC/CF isn’t bad to have in the arsenal.

STRIKE THE BASEBALL! We shouldn’t be thinking to just hit the ball hard. Deliver a blow with precision, brace at contact, and compress the core of the baseball. Become a better ball striker!

Owen is a super kid, great leader and one of the best pitchers I have seen in my 30+ years at Avon. 15-2 record over his 3 years on varsity. 2 time pitcher of year. Holy Cross is getting another good one.
