They needed a poster for

#TheThing
in a hurry. So I conceived it, painted it, and my art was delivered to the studio all within 24 hrs. In fact, when they put it under the glass to photograph it, the paint stuck to the glass because the thing was still wet!

You’d assume the poster continuity would be obvious for the
#BackToTheFuture
films. It wasn’t. I did a lot of comprehensive art before the studio decided to just amplify it! Here’s my resulting triptych art for this wonderfully timeless trilogy.

All three paintings that I created for the

: Special Edition trilogy in ‘96/‘97 were intended to be displayed together as a triptych. Iconic images & beloved characters from the original films are mixed & spread out over all three posters.

wanted it for “The Final Cut”. It wasn’t lost like tears in the rain after all! It’s one of my favorite pieces, & I don’t do favorites.

III, it was decided that 'Clara' was going to join 'Marty' & 'Doc' at the last minute. I had to paint her separately & they dropped her into the poster mechanically. Later, I cut her out & stripped her into the finished painting...and the rest is history!
