I feel like both are great for their own reasons. I can equally see both being valid as Goku, and I use the dubs interchangeably on any DB games I play.
Nobody mentioned Schemmel's acting abilities but since you wanna touch that… yeah, this "senile old woman" is a better voice actor. She actually sounds like she's taking the material seriously.

Johnny impressions - dash is fine? mostly a nerf with some neutral upsides - fs/ 5h changes have offensive upside. worse against ib/ibfd and require better hit confirms - vault hard to use and "fun" execution is gone if you're into that - damage/meter worse? - backdash is awful
