Called the GP at 8:30am for my baby. Was on hold for ~4 mins. Spoke to the loveliest receptionist who took the details. Got a call from our GP at 9am. Baby got seen by GP at 9:30am. Picked up medicines from pharmacy at 9:45am. Amazing service all round. #gratefulpatient #nhsπ.

Fact: Vaccine side effects are better than getting COVID. Iβve had patients decline the vaccine due to fear of side effects. Yes, the vaccine can make you feel a bit groggy (achey arm, headache, fever) but these are transient & a sign that your immune system is responding well.

Thereβs people going into work, out in shops, kids going into school whilst awaiting PCR test results - this is not on. If you go for a PCR test you must assume youβve got COVID until you get a negative result. Going out or meeting others puts them at risk otherwise & is not ok.
