Change the "pre-born babies" stuff for something about structural racism, and you get the woke left's rationale for excluding anyone to the right of Justin Trudeau from the public sphere. Vermeule is just another wokeist, and deserves the same opprobrium.
It would be peak absurdity for @Vermeullarmine (or anyone) to believe that pre-born babies are human beings and NOT want the view that allows them to be killed at will "stamped as abominable, beyond the realm of the acceptable forever".

Quebec will ban street prayer—and invoke the notwithstanding clause to do it: As I have argued, a ban that targets prayer rather than gatherings in parks or on roads would be ultra vires the province and unconstitutional anyway

Much of this applies, mutatis mutandis, to the "legal conservative [and libertarian] movement" in the US and its (tiny) Canadian counterpart. Non-leftist lawyers playing footsie with post liberals should understand what they are getting themselves into - and stop.
For anyone wondering why I'm so critical of the Postliberal movement right now, here's a more detailed explanation where I work through my thoughts:. 1. I didn't declare war on Postliberalism. Postliberalism declared war on economics, and specifically free-market economics. If.
