Enjoyed a lovely morning out in the fresh air with the Great Big Dorset Hedge volunteers on a farm near Dorchester. Planted up two gaps which now includes six in hedge oak trees. The hedge whips were donated to GBDH by The Woodland Trust. #greatbigdorsethedge

Hoping for dryer weather this week for the @rspb 2026 Big Garden Birdwatch. The 2025 results indicated that House Sparrows held onto the top spot, while Blue Tit remained at number two. Starlings dropped from third to fourth place. Sign up here

Regular update & images sent in by local CPRE member who does a little pick while walking along the River Stour in Christchurch. Completed a round of collecting in November from all the usual stretches he does along the lower Stour, consistent amounts of litter unfortunately.
