Pierce County Sheriff's Office Major Chadwick Dickerson was arrested for DUI vehicular assault after a serious collision outside Graham over the weekend. Dickerson was appointed by rightwing extremist, former SPD Captain, and current Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank.

“Assaults on ICE officers are up 700%”.
An ICE officer entered a California hospital. He didn't have a badge or a warrant and didn't identify himself. When an employee asked for these things, he slammed her against the wall and choked her. DHS claimed SHE assaulted HIM. ICE is out of control.

If you want to cry “underreporting, fine. Let’s look at the least underreported and most serious crime: homicide. We’ve had only 19 murders this year. Seattle’s population is 800,000. If this rate holds, we’ll be at 5 per 100,000 for the year. Avg for the US. low for a city.

Do you have stats to prove him wrong though? Crime rates are at mid-2010s levels. You’re happy crime is falling, right? It’s not like it’s just some political cudgel that you’re cynically wielding like a hack or anything.

We explained in detail how they were identified. Laid it all out in a press packet that eventually became the basis of a SPOG unfair labor practices claim. It was a significant risk for us and the legacy media was too cowardly to print the names.

As much as we’d love to put it on SPOG, there’s a bigger issue. In the drive to hire more and more cops (2019 was considered a “staffing crisis” too), SPD lowered its standards and hired absolute garbage. And it’s happening again!.

There were also issues with his driving (2 on-duty collisions) that the SPOG contract again did not factor into because they were never referred to OPA. But the bottom line is that he was hired when he shouldn’t have been (SPOG had no role in that).

But he did generate a sizeable record at Tucson in his brief career, where he was fired with cause in 2012. Then he was basically unhireable and worked as a security guard for 7 years until SPD hired him with a bonus.
Officer Kevin Dave:. - 2 on-duty collisions.- 1 off-duty ticket in AZ (failed to pay/appear, so license suspended).- 1 ticket for running a red in Puyallup.- 6 investigations in 2 years in Tucson.- Fired for failure to meet standards.- hired at SPD with a bonus.- Killed Jaahnavi.

With its arbitrary deadlines and high standard of evidence for “stigmatizing offenses,” the SPOG contract is a huge obstacle to weeding out the worst cops. However, that never really came into play with Kevin Dave.

At the Burner’s candidate forum last night, Mayoral candidate Katie Wilson mentioned the SPOG contract as a way to prevent future Jaahnavi Kandulas, but Dave had zero disciplinary history (at SPD). The real problem is he never should’ve been hired in the first place. (THREAD).

@UFWupdates Maybe surrender and stop running and making the job more difficult. Such a disrespect for law enforcement these days. I don’t think he was injured standing still with his hands in the air. And if he was it was because everyone else ran and caused chaos.

Rick’s fellow WSP Trooper Sarah Clasen tested 0.17 BAC roughly six hours after she killed Jhoser Sanchez. That means she was at 0.26 when the crash happened—just barely under this driver.
Our 911 dispatchers just received a call about a vehicle driving NB I5 in Federal Way. The caller advised the vehicle was erratic and had almost crashed multiple times. Troopers located the vehicle and the driver was arrested for suspected impairment. Almost 4x the legal limit!!
