Cannot believe @CliveMyrieBBC saying ‘slagged off’ on @BBCNews tonight. Such language offensive and inappropriate @bbcpointsofview

Good for @mariellaf1 That needs saying over and over again…..
Mariella Frostrup, "I just don't know when we started dehumanising people to the extent that we do now" >Huge clap< *In response to Nadine Dorries's long rant on leaving the ECHR and using the Royal Navy to address Farage's Brexit Small Boats Arrivals* "I find it really

Pleasure. It’s lovely isn’t it? Grounding.
Fresh from the #BartonBookshelf ... I have absolutely loved this novel - poignant, wise, and ultimately life-affirming. Many thanks to @DiBeddow for recommending it. An extraordinary read.

Agree, but I do think it was about her too. Misogyny played its part. How dare ‘she’ have property?’

Celebrating what would have been Hughes’s 95th birthday on 17th September. Well done editorial team on a fabulous edition.
The relaunched journal Ted Hughes Studies is now available to download from our website and has been emailed to members. It includes writing on Capriccio, Hughes and Ovid, Hughes as a teacher, Hughes's relationship with Peter Redgrove, and Hughes's admiration of Keith Douglas.

Defo with this. My walk over Jesus Green bridge, past the lock keeper’s ‘cottage’ to the lido is polluted, graffitied, dirty, unkempt and feels ignored. The Cam itself is bunged up round the weir and everything is so tired.
Hear hear! Who is behind Mark .. we need a Cambridge city clean up campaign. We can do better... @Cambridge_Uni @Cambslive @acambridgediary

Just heard from @BBCr4today that Clare Reihill from @eliotfoundation was moved by my piece this morning and is sending me a copy of the colour edition of the book. So thoughtful, thank you. She says she knows it can’t replace my old edition, but my goodness it certainly helps.
A big thank you to @BBCr4today for letting me shout out about my missing treasured book this morning, 5th August. You can listen to the clip on @BBCSounds 2.23.30-2.26.30.
