I strongly agree - conferences, summits, conventions etc have largely morphed into something less objective. Whilst there are gains here & there mostly, it's just optics & no meaningful value afterwards. @baba_nyenyedzi @rufarogz @fridaydrinks_ curious to hear your take on this.
