I am very excited to announce that I will be starting in Fall 2021 as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at UC Santa Cruz @UCSC and that I'll be spending the next year as a postdoc at UC Berkeley @Berkeley_EECS at RiseLab @ucbrise!.

MongoDB is taking a big swing with a searchable encryption database feature called Queryable Encryption. They worked with cryptographers @senykam and @TarikMoataz to make research practical and it's open source today. AND they claim it's actually fast
