Aside from attending the ICPC World Finals, last week in Baku, Azerbaijan I also had a chance to visit the grave of the chair of electrical engineering at Berkeley 1963-68, Lofti Zadeh, who was born and buried in Baku. In 1967 Lofti added CS to the department, turning it from
