A Level twitter … what’s your allocation for A level maths ? #mathschat
A-level teaching commitment: currently have 5 hours per week in both year 12 and 13. School wants to drop down to 9 hours per fortnight in both year groups. Can I ask what everyone else does please - please feel free to share. @Just_Maths @missradders

After going to the "Exam Insights Summer 2025" CPD session by Pearson Edexcel, it made me think of the below questions. We'll discuss this at the start of my workshop on "Moving 'em up to the next grade!" for #ALevelMaths #MathsConf39 @LaSalleEd

Good to see a current version of this ever-popular table (thanks Matt Man). You can assume, though, that many of the 9/A* students also took Further Maths

Another task for year 11. Again a little boring. Lots of expanding triple brackets and some linked with volume, surface area and algebraic fractions. https://t.co/7LV9R8f5Uc

This looks amazing for revision and setting cover. Thank you
Cover Lessons should be easy for someone else to set for you. I’m fed up of hearing horrific stories of teachers in hospital emailing in work. I’m on a mission and would love your feedback on these KS4 Unit cover / revision lessons. Video to accompany. https://t.co/wB30sZtU4l

Remarking #GCSE- does anyone get scripts and mark them first before sending them off for remarking? I have been asked to remark scripts before sending them off. Finding it really cumbersome to remark . Anyone else like me? @mrsknoxmaths @wright_maths @Just_Maths @mathsjem

Edufashion update: Metacognition: seems to have died down Dual coding: still going strong, lots of icons Retrieval practice: still going strong, looks like implementation is improving Curriculum: tons of bad ideas floating around New kid on the block: instructional coaching

MATHS TEACHERS: If you’re seeking ways to add quirky ‘real world’ maths to lessons next year I’ve updated my blog index https://t.co/gvU8G90EeX . You can use it to find odd applications of (say) quadratic equations. It’s the sort of thing you might use as a lesson starter (1/3)
