A thread 🧵about how Fox News covered the off year election. Blatantly shilling for Jack Ciattarelli on Fox & Friends. Andrew Cuomo had an awkward appearance where he celebrated Trump's backhanded endorsement. Not sure why he thought that would be a good idea. 1/7

The funniest part of the replies is people who are defending the terrible tipper didn’t bother to read the specifics on the post. It’s typical of the internet. How are people just now figuring out that tipping food service workers is a common practice in the U.S.?
If you have worked in the service industry please help inform this person why leaving a $100 tip on a $2600 catering bill (six month prep time) is a huge fiasco for the server/party coordinator.

In the days after the Democrats swept the off year elections Fox News decided it was the worst possible thing that could happen to the party. (None of these clips are about the shutdown)

Why were there tariffs on coffee to begin with? The U.S. imports 99% of its coffee. People tried to tell him this. He didn’t listen.
🚨TRUMP: “The economy is MY THING.”🚨 @POTUS told me he’s cutting tariffs to bring COFFEE prices down and expects GAS at $2 a gallon. Real relief — not slogans.

Nancy Pelosi announced she would not run for reelection last week. The folks at Fox News seemed angry about it. Imagine if she said she would run again. The outrage machine is always churning at the Murdoch owned media empire.

A man from Fox News posted a longer version of this several hours ago. I’m sure this man came up the exact same talking points on his own. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It’s like a virus on this app. One rightwinger posts something and they all copy and paste.
My Grandparents: - lived in 1,000 square foot home - 5 kids, multiple kids in each room - 1 TV - 1 family car - no cable, cell phones - hand me down clothes for the kids - never ate out - 1 income, grandma didn’t work The problem isn’t that you can’t still do this. The problem

Stephen Miller accused leftists of demonizing and dehumanizing their enemies. He might want to listen to the speech he gave at Charlie Kirk's memorial. It sounded eerily similar to one Joseph Goebbels gave in 1932 about Horst Wessel, a fellow Nazi who was killed by communists.

I call him a “lesser known host” because if I didn’t type that half the comments would be “who is Charlie Hurt?”

Riley Gaines said she thought President Donald J. Trump and the Republican Party can bring unity to the country. I paired her statement with an AI video Trump posted during an anti-Trump protest that shows him dumping raw sewage on U.S. citizens while he is depicted as a king.

Charlie Hurt, a lesser known host on Fox News, seems slightly obsessed with Gavin Newsom's hand gestures. He's commented on them for over a month. I think voters might care about other things. Trump looks like he is playing an air accordion when he speaks.

Brian Kilmeade had a lot of excuses for why Trump hasn't gotten prices down for most Americans. Funny he didn't have any excuses for why inflation spiked during the Biden admin. Prices rose in every major economy due to problems created by the pandemic.

On the day of former vice president Dick Cheney's death Dana Perino wanted everyone to know that torture is okay as long as he told it saved American lives.

Here’s an example with the microwave. Baked potatoes. Takes 5 minutes in a microwave Takes 1 hour in a stove Which is the cheaper way to make them?

Microwaves are cheap. The no microwave rule is just funny. No dental insurance with children is absolute madness. Anyone with kids knows exactly what I’m talking about.
Can a family live on one income today? Yes, but not today’s lifestyle on yesterday’s budget. Here’s what it actually looks like: • 1,000 sq ft home, not 2,500 • One used car • One family phone — no smartphones for kids • One TV, no subscriptions • No microwave, no

Last week the night after the off year elections Jesse Watters claimed Trump got inflation down to 3%. The last rate year-over-year for inflation was 3% but it's not down. Inflation has risen or stayed the same every month since April. Source - BLS

This is an edit of Laura Ingraham's monologue the night after Zohran Mamdani won the New York City election. I mostly just removed media clips of Mamdani weaved in between her words. RUN FOR THE HILLS! It's a communist takeover of half the country.

Cross reference this list with unemployment, poverty rate, school ranking, crime, gun violence, and you’ll see really quickly why it’s cheaper to live there. There’s a few exceptions of course but generally speaking the cheaper states are the poorer states.
Want lower prices? Move to a Red State. 9 of the 10 most expensive states = blue/purple. 10 cheapest states = all red. Blue states brag about “affordability” while charging you more in taxes, housing, and energy.

Support independent media - we won’t build theme parks in countries that chop up journalists and produce terrorists who attacked the United States.
New @PuckNews: Comcast’s CEO is considering doing a Universal theme park in Saudi Arabia and just toured a possible site. Would he bring the deep-pocketed (and deeply problematic) Saudis in on a bid for all or part of Warner Bros Discovery?

Let's say you take out a $400,000 mortgage loan at 6.25% - and choose a 50-year mortgage instead of 30 yrs. In return for saving $283 monthly, you will pay an extra $421,302 in interest over the life of loan. Or if you sell at 15 yrs, will have paid off just $29,000 in equity.
INGRAHAM: Is a 50 year mortgage really a good idea? TRUMP: It's not even a big deal. You go from 40 to 50 years. All it means is you pay less per month
