Last week we applauded the recent CRISPR n of 1 trial in the US. Here's a story closer to home and closer to some of us in many different ways @IGIBSocial.
This story was an extraordinary one in so many ways and took me through a range of emotions; awe at what science and our scientists are achieving, a hint of desperation and hope the parents must have felt while chasing the last straw.
