@LeftyHV The main purpose of the mandated HV contacts is to identify health needsā¼ļø An oxymoron to decide in advance who has health needs & classified as āuniversalā š¤·š»āāļøš¤ Babies & young children are only seen4x between birth & school entry- a bare minimum, now being eroded in Englandā¼ļø

Two extraordinary statistics from @LondonCouncils today: - One in every 21 children in London now lives in temporary accommodation. - London authorities spend £4 million on temporary accommodation every single day.

number of children in hotels for longer than the 6-week legal limit has increased by 663% in three years, from 490 children to 3,250, with more than @CitizensUK
Our campaign is no child in a hotel for longer than the legal limit. So these numbers are horrifying. Follow our campaign asking that no child endure this - let alone 3,250.

Dear @metpoliceuk as a @iHealthVisiting I am confident in recognising and support women experiencing DV. Supporting a friend has given me a more personal experience. Why ask a victim brave enough to disclose š¤ if she wants him arrested! He's broken bail š” @womensaid

Lord Darzi observed what GPs already knew - āI can still remember at the start of my career when health visitors & district nurses worked with us as one big teamā So can I and that was 23 yrs ago. We donāt need reports, we need general practice revival

Home visits and continuity are key to building strong professional relationships. Shame that isn't a KPi
Our CEO @Alison_Morton2 was flying the flag for babies & the best start in life for all at todayās @CEPEO_UCL launch of their report on early yearās entitlements. Key finding was that home visits made a statistical difference to uptake, with strong support for health visiting š

@1stepsnutrition @Debbief108 @TA_APPG @homeoffice @iHealthVisiting Great news, we agree and do believe that these recommendations will definitely help to build a case for all our children having access to healthy home cooked food not matter what their housing or immigration status.

Looking foward to new publication š„³ Babies and toddlers should always have access to a healthy diet. Sachets, jars, follow on formula and Celerac just isn't good enough.
