Feeling a bit nostalgic today, thinking about my incredible lab colleagues at the @DanforthCenter. That place wasn’t just a hub of scientific discovery for me, it was where I made lifelong connections and experienced some of the most important growth in my career.

To everyone grieving, forgive yourself for finding moments of joy amidst loss. You are absolutely allowed to experience happiness even while mourning. Your love for them isn't measured by your pain.

When you’re disabled - keeping yourself alive is a full time job. Managing doctors appts, fighting for safe & competent healthcare and living in a world that isn’t made for you is exhausting. Since we entered the “you do you” phase of COVID… it’s become nearly impossible. 🧵/1
