Congratulations to the first ever graduates of Sierra Leone’s School Leadership Programme! Last week we celebrated about 500 school leaders who have spent the past year building skills to improve school management, learner safety, inclusion and teaching quality.

On #InternationalYouthDay, we celebrate Osman and other young people who embody strength, creativity, commitment and resilience. Through LWL's initiatives, schools in 🇸🇱 are becoming safer and more inclusive, tackling bullying and creating inclusive learning environments.

Osman walks 40 minutes to school. Despite bullying for his disability -he lost an arm as a child- he’s determined to keep studying. Passionate about fixing solar lights, he wants to become an electrician. With support, learners like Osman in Sierra Leone can achieve their dreams.

And the most special thanks to our superstar learners featured in the film. And to their parents, teachers, school leaders and community. You are the heart and soul of this film and we so appreciate you sharing your lives with us. #LearningNewGenSL
