Very glad I bought the Herald today. Talk about capturing the zeitgeist. Superb & honest (a combo recently lacking?) column from @ThatKerryHudson in today’s @heraldscotland

Interesting to see this transaction happen post FID but pre construction.
Following the transaction, the #offshorewind farm is owned 40 per cent by Ocean Winds, 20.25 per cent by Allianz, 29.5 per cent by Sumitomo, with Banque des Territoires holding a 9.75 per cent stake and Vendée Energie a 0.5 per cent stake.

All the signs point in the same direction: Brussels is about to delay five years to 2040 its full ban on gasoline and diesel cars. New loopholes are being negotiated to keep plug-in hybrids and other cars with internal combustion engine-based extenders on the road beyond 2035.

One of the few environments I can focus and do productive work. I spent 4 fruitless years as an undergrad in tepid libraries trying and failing to get my brain in gear. I had to work in a factory to figure out that I needed life & buzz around me to be creative and productive.
