Major point here WRT labelling. "25 years ago in China, you see two guys on the street holding hands, nobody thinks anything of it - they're just good friends. Now it's "OMG! Are they gay?" And China got that from the West." Labels are a fantastic source of division and conflict.
THE WEST LOVE TO LABEL EVERYONE: This is important and very accurate. Openly trans Chinese megastar Jin Xing is asked about LGBT-WXYZ in China, and soon makes a very good point about the West. In China, people have a lot of freedom, including freedom from debilitating labels.

@DavidLiFerguson @AndyBxxx You nailed it. It is our culture to respect elderly, parents, and leaders, even though some of them don’t really deserve it. It is viewed as offensive and rude to ridicule or insult them openly. It has nothing to do with dictatorship.
