Good to meet with Treaty 3 chiefs, youth and 2SLGBTQI+ council reps in Halifax at the AFN’s AGA. We talked about renewing a Treaty Council & working together on UNDA implementation, with a focus on inherent rights. Looking forward to continued strong partnership.

With US Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco in Japan last week, during the G7 justice ministers meeting. We spoke about combatting crime & gun violence, anti-money laundering and online safety. Canada and the US will always be strong allies and partners.
