It's hard to overstate just how far backwards the Ford government has taken us on climate. The rest of the world is using the shift toward renewables to generate jobs and prosperity, meanwhile the Premier has no plan at all.

Brampton City Councillor literally takes speed enforcement into her own hands. Armed with a radar gun, @RoweSantos catches one driver doing 72 in a 50 zone, making the point that Automated Speed Enforcement is necessary as the Province moves to ban speed cameras across Ontario.

Canada faces an existential threat from the climate crisis, yet our electoral system continues to undermine effective climate action. Following recent provincial and federal elections, abrupt environmental policy changes have become increasingly common. This policy instability

We can no longer ignore the direct link between how we vote and our ability to address the climate crisis. Canada urgently needs electoral reform. Our future, and our planet, depends on it.

Bill 5 is proof the Ford government is out of touch with what Ontarians and First Nations want from their government. Attacking Indigenous rights, environmental protections, labour laws and democracy is not the way to build shared prosperity. Ford need to kill this bill and

Today, Ontario NDP Deputy Leader Sol Mamakwa was removed from the legislature for his opposition to Bill 5. He was removed for saying the Premier was telling "untruths" about respecting the duty to consult. Since Bill 5 was announced, First Nations leaders have been sounding

Bill 5 is an unprecedented and extraordinary power grab by the Ford government. I'll keep fighting alongside people from across Ontario until the government drops this dangerous and undemocratic bill.

@CycleToronto Heartbreaking. A costly move - economically and in terms of lives at risk - with no evidence to support that bike lanes cause congestion. And, an interference in municipal jurisdiction. #sharetheroad #bikelanessavelives

Premier Ford's Bill 5 would *KILL* the Endangered Species Act & give him & his cabinet Trump-like powers to exempt any person, business, or property he chooses from all provincial & municipal laws. Tell your MPP to REJECT this unhinged power-grab! https://t.co/qCaQhVtZKC

It's clear that more highways will not help address gridlock. It will increase pollution and lock people into long, expensive commutes. If we want to solve gridlock, we need to give people more affordable options to get around, including reliable public transit and safe biking

NEW: Over the past decade, successive governments added 134 kilometres to Hwy 401. In that period, traffic on the route's key bottleneck didn't get better. Government hopes new highways will help but modelling shows their impact will be minimal. #OnPoli https://t.co/TClnoSO8NN

I cycle all year round, and I see many other people doing the same, including but not just gig workers and deliveries. Look at surging winter bikeshare use for other evidence. For me, winter cycling means snow tires, warm clothes and bike mitts.

Bike lanes accommodate a range of abilities and mobilities. While it is uncomfortable to have mopeds proliferate bike lanes (not legal in cycle tracks), their use should support expanding width & design micro mobility vs. attack a vulnerable class of worker. #BikeTO
