Kudos to @_Zimmerfrau and Politico Europe’s trade team for featuring my two cents on the challenging dynamics of US-EU trade negotiations. In summary: The Germans don’t fully appreciate the severity of the situation. The EU has the strength and must call Mr. Trump’s bluff.
