Thus far, sideways chop/no-mans land in both $ES_F and $VIX - no edge unless you are doing some quick scalps, but no range expansion just yet.
$VIX in no-mans land as of now - will not offer much edge for opening $ES_F trades. Add to that the gap up on Sunday in $ES_F Monday AM will require some patience!

I know this picture is getting a lot of negative reactions, but scenes like this have always fascinated me. Even back in college when I first experienced one, the trading floor represented energy, competition, and pure market chaos, all the things that drew me into this world.

Over the past five years, there has been an explosion of option alert subscription services. I follow a few of them (the ones I follow are good), and some genuinely do a great job highlighting meaningful activity in the options market without being clickbaity or fear mongering.

Today's close was constructive, let's see if we get some follow-through. VIX is below 16.25, that's a good sign. $ES_F $SPY $VIX
$ES_F $SPY ~6702 is my focus for the last hour. Flows have improved over the last 30 minutes or so, and we bounced off of 6679. I won't rule out being long >6702 if things come together. $VIX below 16.25 would be a bonus
