AI citations are now in @ahrefs Site Explorer. You can see the numbers and changes from our Brand Radar indexes on all plans, but to see the actual mentions and citations, you'll have to subscribe to Brand Radar.

A user on Reddit asks why Semrush is pushing llms.txt. This is a waste of time for people and it has no support. They should not be wasting people's time.

Me trying to explain internally why @ahrefs AI Content Helper is exactly what SEOs need in the AI era. You get main topics, a score for how relevant you are for each topic. Higher score = more likely to be cited. An example from Gemini for how it maps to fan out queries.

There's a lot of hype around "AI search". It's still search. It will take some time for the hype to die down and then we'll all just be calling it search again.

We've added exports to @ahrefs Web Analytics, csv or Sheets. Bulk exports of reports coming soon. Also added was a cloned pages report. It shows if you page appears on an external domain via an iframe, a cached version, Google Translate, or someone stole your content.

There's a new Instant Recrawl option in Ahrefs Site Audit. It works if you're using Always-on Audits. Click re-crawl and we'll check the page again and update the issues. There's a bulk recrawl option coming soon so you can check multiple pages to see if an issue was fixed.

Websites that get more traffic in traditional organic search also get mentioned more in AI Search. The biases were interesting. All 3 studied over-indexed on Wikipedia. Google also favors UGC like Reddit and Quora, while under-indexing on social media.

I'm always amused when Semrush shows up here. It makes me think what I might have said lately that would draw their attention. Could be a number of different posts, but my bet is on this one:

Top SEO bots: .1. Ahrefs . That's all you need to know. If you added up the crawling of all 20 of the other bots, we crawl more than 19 of them combined.

Who needs websites when Google can just provide all the answers and keep you on Google? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

I don’t think this result will come as a surprise to anyone. Websites that get more traffic in traditional organic search also get mentioned more in AI Search. Popular sites are popular, even if the search system changes.
