This is excellent news for children and families seeking protection and for the British values of democracy, solidarity and respect for rights and the rule of law.
We welcome the Supreme Court’s ruling that deporting asylum seekers to #Rwanda is unlawful. These plans would have posed a serious risk to children. The UK government must reconsider and ensure all children arriving in the UK are safe and protected. Read our joint statement 👇

We are extremely concerned that unaccompanied children could be incorrectly assessed as adults and deported to #Rwanda. The Home Secretary must safeguard the rights of children and put their welfare first.
