Be careful updating Docker right now if you are running Traefik. Currently borks everything and requires downgrading to get things working again... https://t.co/CWzEQApSs6

OpenAI also logs all the traffic in the VMs through mitmproxy. i'd strongly recommend against putting sensitive data into it. (they don't let you see this in chrome btw!)

if OpenAI can't secure a Chromium fork... surely they couldn't secure the Agent Mode Linux machine either. this was never supposed to see anything outside of a locked down chrome window :D thanks for the free 2 computers openai. they can play DOOM too :)

If you decide to use ChatGPT Atlas (@OpenAI's new browser), make double sure you don't reuse your password for OpenAI AND have strong MFA on. If that reused password shows up in a breach & can be used against your AI browser, you're gonna have a much bigger breach on your hands.

Two biases quietly shape how you investigate every day: authority bias and automation bias. Let’s break down how they work, how they're *related*, and how they can burn you. 🧡

IMHO, the loss of Twitter/X as a platform where virtually everyone in infosec who was publicly active online had a presence has really been deleterious to a lot of info sharing. It's also no doubt prevented a lot of useful discussions and interactions from happening.

For anyone curious, he said he got a DM from a β€œjournalist”, then a phishing link was sent posing as a calendar invite, which granted perms to the Twitter account. He didn’t post the DM, but I got some around the same time. Here is what they look like. (account is now dead)

This was posted to my X account a few minutes ago (I deleted immediately). To my knowledge I have not been hacked, was not the victim of a phishing scam, and I have two factor on. What could possibly explain it?

Working in infosec feels like everyone else is a toddler running with scissors and there’s an unbearable urge to knock it out of their hands β€” but that’s wrong, you don’t want to be that person because they’ll then run with scissors with the lights off so you can’t see them…
