Yesterday I was in Leeds for the Aspire Cyber Summit and the focus was heavily on resilience. Hearing very sad stories from victims of ransomware attacks. I talked about the key mistakes I see organisations make in their planning for an attack.

Having used ChatGPT Atlas (the AI browser) for about two weeks now, it’s clear that the biggest security weakness is user fatigue. You’re constantly saying “yes just do it”, which makes it so easy to also approve malicious actions. The attacks don’t even have to be disguised.

If you see claims of xyz - challenge them. Ask them to point you to the case/ data / example- then it’s fine but if they can’t do that…… well you get the idea
