There is no connection between the stock market and reality. A thread: 1. Airlines spent 96% of free cash flow on stock buybacks for a decade, then cut 90,000 jobs as soon as trouble hits. Then they got a $50 billion bailout https://t.co/9vwa4TpaSn

Minimum wage in July 2009: $7.25 Minimum wage in January 2021: $7.25 In that span, the average cost of goods went up 21%. And corporate profits went up 56%. Folks, prices go up regardless. And so do profits. What doesn't change, usually, is wages for service workers.

Dems gain power after the GOP runs the country into the ground. The GOP gains power after Dems don't get the shit done that needs to be done, which involves systemic changes they don't make, causing people to think the GOP needs another shot. Biden, please get the shit done.

Researchers rigged Monopoly games so one player got huge advantages like 2x more dice rolls. After winning, every single one said it was due to skill & they deserved to win. Reminded of how 60% of wealth is inherited and billionaires donate 1% of wealth https://t.co/XFmNo63Zwx

In the first week of 2021, Big Pharma jacked up the prices of *636 drugs*—including the two most expensive drugs taxpayers foot the bill for through Medicare. I confronted a few of the CEOs responsible for price hikes in October, and I’ll keep fighting to hold them accountable.

Half a million dollars. That's the bonus a Big Pharma CEO got for hiking the price of ONE cancer treatment drug. How many patients lost their lives because they couldn't afford this medicine? Here's our conversation:
